12Feb2006; Burlington, VT; Moto RAZR v3 I know someone who lives here... but was just walkin by. 8 meters with another lone "bright" one. not the cleanest of installs, but kinda interesting in it's own way. pipes stretching around the outside of the building rather than all entering right here.
12Feb2006; Burlington, VT; Moto RAZR v3 Meh. kinda boring but i like that one light silver meter as the "outcast". this one is on a corner by the rotary on Shelburne Rd.
12Feb2006; Burlington, VT; Moto RAZR v3 Walkin' downtown. Shelburne Rd (St.). State of many old multi-units in town being converted back to single family. Tough to see but i think there were three meters here at one time.
29Jan2006; Burlington, VT; Moto RAZR v3 farrell vending on pine st. kinda cool big meter. i swear my shots are getting worse and worse. maybe i should try a real camera...
29Jan2006; Burlington, VT; Moto RAZR v3 holy crap. seemingly the holy grail of this here blog. i count 30 meters, with at least one missing. and what beautiful presentation. nice awning, exposed brick, green grass. thanks to Robb for pointing this baby out to me!
29Jan2006; Williston, VT; Moto RAZR v3 by the tire place near the napa below. kinda cool because of the rusty pipes. man, the pictures i took from my car, stationary, with the window open all suck! i gotta get my lazy ass out of the car (see above).
29Jan2006; Williston, VT; Moto RAZR v3 behind napa in williston. kinda cool framed behind that wooden rail. is that supposed to stop carnage? doesn't look like it would stop a baby stroller, let alone a truck.
29Jan2006; Williston, VT; Moto RAZR v3 Revolution Distribution Warehouse. a cool huge meter setup. sorry the pic is crooked. seemed to be cool at the time with the top pipe perspective "horizontal".. not so much.
I'm not exactly sure why. Something about the pipes, the symmetry, the asymmetry, and some mysterious aspect of the evidence of infrastructure.
There is something beautiful in the raw utility of the installation.
